Goyal Salt Group was founded in 1985 by first-generation entrepreneur Mr. Kunj Bihari Goyal Ji, who pioneered North India’s first iodised salt plant under the name M/s Goyal Iodised Salt Works. With a vision to provide quality iodised salt, he began with bulk packaging and later introduced consumer-friendly packs. In 2005, the second generation, Mr. Rajesh Goyal and Mr. Pramesh Goyal, brought fresh ideas and established Rajasthan’s one of the largest salt washeries in 2009. Under their leadership, the company expanded with multiple refineries: Nawa City (2,10,000 MT), Santhalpur (2,50,000 MT), Phalodi (1,00,000 MT), and a high-tech refinery reaching 2,50,000 MT by 2015. In 2010, Mr. Lokesh Goyal also joined, further strengthening operations. Today, with 700 bighas of salt works ensuring backward integration, an annual capacity of 6,60,000 MT, and a retail presence across 5,000 outlets, Goyal Salt Limited stands as a leader in quality, innovation, and growth in the Indian salt industry.
